Once in a while we all deserve a day off from work. Sometimes it becomes necessary for an employee to be out of work; it could be an illness, a family issue, or personal and general break-down. This post is going to highlight some of the bestcommon causes for reporting for leave from work and how you should go about them.

Sick Days: We all know it’s extremely inconvenient to get sick. There are working conditions in which a person is unable to take their turn at work the way he or she is expected to and, therefore, requires the permission of his employer. Make sure you explain the type of sickness that has affected you, and the amount of days that you are likely to be out of work.

Family Emergency: Every person has his or her relatives who require help at one moment or another. The important thing each one of you should understand is that in event of a family emergency or any emergency that calls for your absence; you should inform your employer as soon as possible. As much as possible state the fact on the matter and if possible give an approximate date to go back to work.
