How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies exposes the intricacies of family relationships and paints an exceptionally fleshed out, terribly accurate, and often terribly sad portrait of how love, avarice, and concern help to construct the fabric strands of family bonds. I think that this representation is intended to illustrate both the aspects of people that mean that we stay together within a family, as well as the aspects that make everyone act in their self-interest. What makes (or should make) it such an interesting movie is the portrayal of human nature and the impact that household’s relations can have on changes. The reality is that true affection always trumps selfishness; what we get to see as these characters deal with emotions.
Love and Loss: If there is one thing that drives human emotions, it is Unconditional Love.
These feelings are what happens for the most part in this romantic story. All forms of hatred are shrugged off and every physical aspect of love emerges, as a result of the bond between M and his grandmother. In a world where you have limited time and death always follows you, the play is about what it means to lose a family member psychologically…
