Why You Should Make a Turducken (Even if You’re Not a Fan)
As a child there was always much attention paid to me and my father fondness to the rather queer things and ideas especially when we discourse about food. One day we came across a turducken recipe and before we new it, it became a dream for both of us to make this disgusting monstrosity also known as three-meat delight for the holiday dinner.

My dad was an aspiring chef and a perfectionist by nature; so for him making a turducken was not just an opportunity to showcase the family’s cooking skills but also become the culinary stars of the town . To prepare it he went over the Internet and read all the turducken recipes so that he could properly combine turkey, duck, and chicken. ”This is going to be chunky of interest!” he exclaimed with delight.
Before the launching of the Friday night services, the raw materials including a turkey backbone, chicken stuffing and thigh bones were sourced to ensure that they are fresh. Since the flavors should penetrate through to the meats, my father thought it wise to marinate the meats for a night in spices and turkey brine. This let us share plenty of time at the kitchen counter preparing the ingredients, slicing and carving the meats as though they were in operating theaters!
